POKOTABI / Ringo
RINGO
Choose your pizza toppings, try the apple pizza or a cocktail made with sake, and enjoy food and drinks surrounded by Beatles music and memorabilia.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
At RINGO, part of the pleasure of the pizza is choosing what goes on it. One visitor’s combination paired tomato sauce with salami, asparagus and broccoli. The menu also lists extra toppings such as onion, kimchi, basil and anchovies, leaving plenty of room to make the pizza your own. Some people return again and again for the pizza, with that freedom to choose among its attractions.
Another item to look out for is the “Ringo Pizza”, made with an original, handmade base. It comes in L, M and S sizes, measuring about 24 cm, 21 cm and 17 cm respectively. The range makes it easy to choose a size for a full meal or for sharing alongside other dishes. Other options include butter-fried squid tentacles and salmon salad. One diner praised the squid’s springy texture and also enjoyed the salmon salad.
The drinks, too, include Beatles-inspired names and combinations. “Lennon’s Love” is a sake cocktail made with tomato juice and lemon; one visitor enjoyed adding Tabasco to taste. For something sweet, “Honey Pie” combines chocolate liqueur with milk. Other sake-based options include “Paul’s Passionate Love”, mixed with lime and ginger, so you can choose a drink to go with the meal or a sweeter finish.
Visitors describe Beatles songs playing in the bar, alongside videos and related memorabilia. Live performances are also advertised, making this a place to spend an evening with the Beatles, whether over pizza or listening to music.
